Denise Lindeen
I began my health insurance journey in 1987 at my family’s insurance agency, where I spent 17 years learning every aspect of the business with a focus on small and mid-size employer group benefits. More importantly, I learned to always listen and be fully transparent with our clients and business partners. This approach has helped me build strong personal and professional relationships rooted in trust.
In 2003, I transitioned to UnitedHealthcare, where I spent two decades helping shape the group retiree health care market. As Vice President of Client Development, I had the rare opportunity to help launch a successful pilot program that evolved into United Retiree Solutions (URS) – now serving thousands of plan sponsors and millions of retirees nationwide. My work included collaborating with large national employers and consultants to evaluate complex retiree health plans and successfully transition them into sustainable Group Medicare Advantage and/or Medicare Supplement with EGWP Part D plans.
My career later expanded into senior account executive roles at both UHC and BCBS, where I supported some of the largest retiree clients in the country and gained valuable insight into the operational processes and differences between for-profit and nonprofit insurers.
While I truly valued my clients and colleagues in corporate America, in 2025 I made the decision to join my son, Joshua in opening our Health Insurance Advisors office in Franklin – a meaningful full-circle moment in my career.
I am excited to be back at an insurance agency where I bring together the best of both worlds –national, strategic insight and expertise with personalized service I learned early in my career. Clients know me as someone who listens, cares and goes the extra mile to build lasting partnerships based on trust, respect and proven results.
On a more personal note, my husband Greg and I are lifelong WI residents and live in Franklin. We’ve been blessed with 3 adult (married) children and two beautiful and energetic granddaughters. Outside of work family time is my favorite activity, though I love to travel and also have a strong love for the arts.
